🎉Hazard Middle School's afterschool art enrichment blossomed with creativity last week as students enjoyed a 'banging good time' exploring the craft of metal stamping! With hammers in hand and imaginations at work, they transformed simple pieces of metal into beautiful jewelry, unique keychains, and even charming pet tags. Guided by the talented resident artist Jill Robertson, each student had the chance to design a personalized creation that sparkled with individuality and pride. Thanks to Full-Service Community Schools for making this experience possible! 💙💛

Welcome to Hazard Middle School, SRO Jessica Cornett! We are excited to welcome School Resource Officer Jessica Cornett to our Hazard Middle School family! Officer Cornett will be working with our students, staff, and families to help ensure a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment. Her presence will not only provide safety but also serve as a great opportunity for our students to build strong, positive relationships with law enforcement. We’re looking forward to all the ways she will make a difference in our school community.

🎉Democracy was alive and well at Hazard Middle School last week as students geared up for student council elections! Campaign posters filled the halls, speeches inspired their classmates, and ballots were cast with excitement. On Tuesday, September 9, the big election took place-giving our students a real taste of leadership in action! Congratulations to our 2025-2026 Student Council officers! Thanks to Wayne Napier and the Perry County Clerk's office for your support for this event. 💙💛
