🐾 Hazard Middle School had a pawsitively perfect day on Thursday! Wiener dogs Woody and Chloe, along with author Leigh Anne Florence, visited our school for an inspiring day of learning and fun. During the assembly, Leigh Anne and her furry friends shared powerful messages about success and perseverance, followed by a creative writing workshop that connected music to storytelling. The day wrapped up with a special meet-and-greet session where students shared their own pet stories and showed plenty of love to Woody and Chloe. A big thank you to Mrs. Hall, Ron and Leigh Anne Florence, as well as PRI, for providing our students with this amazing experience!

What a wonderful day at the Challenger Center! Students from our Algebra 1 class participated in SpacePrep, An Aerospace Exploration Workshop for Young Women. While there, students learned about electrical engineering, space science, and got to solder together their own "jiggy bot" using electrical components. A special thank you to the Challenger Center for inviting our students. 💙💛

SPOOKTACULAR fun at the MAC! Our 7th graders took a trip to the Mountain Arts Center to see the Kentucky Opry Jr. Pros and it was fang-tastic! The students loved the music, dancing, and the Halloween spirit throughout the performance. What an awesome way to celebrate the season and the arts! 🎃
