Chris Campbell from the Boys and Girls Club spoke with our 8th graders about the powerful idea: "I am a World Changer." He highlighted notable Americans who made contributions that changed history and reminded students that their voices and actions matter. Chris encouraged them to stand up for what they believe in and showed how following their passions can help them change the world. 🌎 We are thankful to have community members who care for and inspire our students! 💙💛💙

Our 8th grade science students recently took part in an exciting hands on lab experience -- frog dissection! This activity gave students the opportunity to deepen their understanding of body systems and how living organisms function. Students identified major organs and discussed how each system works together to support life. Labs like this help bring classroom lessons to life and allow students to apply what they've learned in a meaningful way. We are so proud of our students for their focus throughout this important learning experience!

As of 03/05/26, Elizabeth Dr. will be shut down from North Main to Preston Way to all traffic except Hazard Middle School buses and those residing along Elizabeth Dr., between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:00 pm. All student drop off and pick ups will need to follow the route through Turner Ave. located on the map below.
