Chris Campbell from the Boys & Girls Club of America had an engaging and interactive visit with our 7th graders today. He led students in a game-playing, informative discussion about the importance of strong character and standing up for what's right. Using examples of notable African Americans throughout history, Chris highlighted the power of discovering your passion and using it to make a positive impact on the world. We are grateful to Chris for investing in and inspiring our students! 💙💛

🍰🍚The Flavor Lab was back in action this week! Students whipped up fried rice and chocolate eclair cake while building real-life cooking skills. Huge thanks to PRI and FoodCorps for making these hands-on learning opportunities possible! There's room at the table for others to join us! The Flavor Lab meets Tuesdays from 3:15-4:15. Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are so proud and excited to share that our girls’ basketball team will be competing in the AllA State Tournament next week. To allow our students, staff, and families the opportunity to support our team, we will have no school on Wednesday, January 21st and Thursday 22nd. If our girls advance on Wednesday, we will have no school on Friday, January 23rd . The girls play on Wednesday at 5:00pm Central Time (6:00 pm Eastern Time) at Owensboro Sportscenter and if we win, we will play Friday at 11:30 am Central Time (12:30 pm Eastern Time). We encourage everyone to join us in supporting our student athletes as they represent our school and community at the state level. Thank you for your continued support, and please contact us if you have any questions. Reminder: There is no school Monday. It is Martin Luther King Day.
